What is design?

When you think of design what do you think of? Most people think of design as a created form or object that is created. However, design is much more than something that is created. Design is everything and anything. It is both a noun and a verb. As a verb, design is used to create something. The intention of creating something with design is to form both structure and composition by using different techniques and elements. As a noun, design is the product or final goal of what is to be accomplished. It could be a pattern in nature, a design print in an exhibit or even the carpet design in your room.
One must consider many things when creating a design.
